Generating unit No. 11 (B11), a supercritical, hard-coal-fired unit with a gross capacity of 1,075 MW, built at the Kozienice Power Plant in Świerże Górne (Kozienice municipality, Mazowieckie Voivodeship), which belongs to the Enea Group. At the time of commissioning it was the largest and most modern unit of its type in Poland (and one of the largest in Europe), increasing the Enea Group's generating capacity to about 6.2 GW. The investment was carried out by a consortium of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH (MHPSE) and Polimex-Mostostal. Construction began in 2012 (the foundation stone was laid on 21 November 2012), and the handover protocol for the investment's commissioning was signed on 19 December 2017. The unit achieves an efficiency of 45.6%, which allows carbon dioxide emissions to be reduced by about 25% compared with existing coal-fired units. According to press reports, the investment cost a total of about PLN 5.1 billion. At the peak of construction, about 3,200 specialists were working on site at the same time.

Significance

At the time of its commissioning, the 1,075 MW B11 unit at the Kozienice Power Plant was the largest and most modern coal-fired unit in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, and its start-up increased the Enea Group's generating capacity to about 6.2 GW. The use of supercritical parameters allowed an efficiency of 45.6% to be achieved and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by about 25% relative to older coal-fired units.

Independence is counted the same way the gate that admits a record counts it: subdomains and titles from one publisher are a single voice, Wikipedia is zero. That is why the number is lower than the number of links. Three is the minimum.
