460 MW power generating unit (supercritical CFB) at Łagisza Power Station
The 460 MW unit at the Łagisza Power Station in Będzin (Łagisza district) was the world's first power generating unit with a CFB boiler (circulating fluidised bed) operating at supercritical parameters. The boiler was supplied by Foster Wheeler. The foundation stone was laid and the construction site consecrated on 12 May 2006, and the handover-to-service protocol for the unit was signed on 27 June 2009. The investor was Południowy Koncern Energetyczny S.A. (now TAURON Wytwarzanie S.A.). Ranked among the largest investments in the Polish power sector, it cost around PLN 2 billion, though construction was completed below the planned budget, at a cost of around PLN 1.9 billion. The unit is fired with hard coal and achieves a gross efficiency of no less than 45%.

Significance
The 460 MW unit at Łagisza was the world's first power generating unit fitted with a CFB fluidised-bed boiler operating at supercritical parameters, making it a model, reference installation for this technology in coal-fired power generation. Its high efficiency (no less than 45% gross) and its ability to burn hard coal, coal sludge and biomass reduced fuel consumption and emissions compared with older units. The investment was one of the largest in the Polish power sector during this period.

Independence is counted the same way the gate that admits a record counts it: subdomains and titles from one publisher are a single voice, Wikipedia is zero. That is why the number is lower than the number of links. Three is the minimum.
