CCGT Combined-Cycle Gas-and-Steam Unit in Płock (PKN Orlen, approx. 600 MW)
A combined-cycle gas-and-steam unit (CCGT) built by PKN Orlen at its Production Plant in Płock, based on an H-class gas turbine (Siemens SGT5-8000H) in a single-shaft configuration with an SST5-5000 steam turbine. The unit has a capacity of around 596 MWe gross (also given as 600 MW) and around 520 MWt, operating in high-efficiency cogeneration, with an electrical efficiency above 61 per cent and total efficiency of around 93 per cent. PKN Orlen signed a turnkey ("pod klucz") construction contract with a consortium of Siemens AG and Siemens sp. z o.o. at the turn of November and December 2014 (tender decided: November 2014; contract announced: 2 December 2014). The value of the contracts was PLN 1.3 billion for construction and around PLN 0.3 billion for an approximately 12-year service agreement; the estimated total investment value was around PLN 1.65 billion. Construction began in September 2015, and the unit was handed over for commercial operation at the end of June 2018. Total investment outlays incurred to carry out the project came to around PLN 1.7 billion. At the time, it was the largest and most advanced combined-cycle gas-and-steam unit in Poland.

Significance
At the time of commissioning, the CCGT unit in Płock was the largest and most advanced combined-cycle gas-and-steam unit in Poland and one of the first units in the country to use an H-class gas turbine with an electrical efficiency above 61 per cent. It increased PKN Orlen's generating capacity in high-efficiency industrial cogeneration (alongside the unit in Włocławek), providing electricity and heat production for the needs of the Płock production plant and feeding power into the national grid. The investment was part of building Orlen's position as a leader in industrial cogeneration and of strengthening energy security based on gas fuel.

Independence is counted the same way the gate that admits a record counts it: subdomains and titles from one publisher are a single voice, Wikipedia is zero. That is why the number is lower than the number of links. Three is the minimum.
