A4 Motorway Jarosław – Korczowa (Ukrainian border)
The final, approximately 47-kilometre section of the A4 motorway from Jarosław to Korczowa at the Polish-Ukrainian border, closing the Polish part of the A4/E40 corridor (Berlin-Kyiv). The investment was divided into two work packages carried out under the "design and build" system: Jarosław (Wierzbna interchange) - Radymno, approximately 25 km long, built by the Budimex Dromex and Ferrovial Agroman consortium for PLN 969.2 million, and Radymno - Korczowa (state border), approximately 22 km long, built by the Greek company J&P Avax for PLN 818.5 million. Bids in the GDDKiA tender were opened on 7 September 2009. The GDDKiA investor's cost estimate assumed an investment cost from Jarosław to Korczowa of PLN 2.35 billion, and the selected bids allowed savings of around PLN 560 million to be forecast against the estimate; the whole investment was valued at approximately PLN 1.7-1.8 billion. The original completion deadline was April 2012. The main carriageway of the Radymno-Korczowa section was made available to drivers on 23 December 2013, and the Korczowa interchange, the last interchange in Poland and the European Union before crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border, was opened to traffic on 18 June 2014. The investor was the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).

Significance
The Jarosław – Korczowa section closed the Polish part of the A4 motorway all the way to the border with Ukraine, creating a continuous motorway connection on the European east-west corridor (A4/E40, towards Berlin-Kyiv). The Korczowa interchange is the last road junction in Poland and the European Union allowing drivers to exit the A4 motorway before crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border, which makes the section a key element of the road border crossing and of freight transit to the east. The investment was completed for less than the GDDKiA investor's cost estimate (PLN 2.35 billion), with forecast savings of around PLN 560 million.
