Lubiatów–Międzychód–Grotów (LMG) oil and gas field, PGNiG
The Lubiatów–Międzychód–Grotów (LMG) oil and gas field is Poland's largest oil and gas mine, built by Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG) on the Lubiatów, Międzychód and Grotów deposits, located on the border of the Lubusz Voivodeship (Drezdenko municipality) and the Greater Poland Voivodeship (Międzychód municipality). Development of the field comprised 14 wells with wellhead installations, field pipelines, the LMG Central Facility, and product pipelines for crude oil and natural gas. PGNiG signed the construction contract on 11 August 2008 with a consortium led by PBG SA (together with Technip KTI of Italy and Thermo Design Engineering of Canada), worth more than PLN 1.7 billion gross (around PLN 1.4 billion net). Construction started at the beginning of 2009, and on 22 March 2013 the parties signed the Final Acceptance Protocol. Documented recoverable reserves of the deposits amount to around 7.25 million tonnes of crude oil and around 7.3 billion m³ of natural gas; target average annual output is more than 300,000 tonnes of oil and more than 100 million m³ of natural gas. Bringing the field into operation roughly doubled PGNiG's domestic crude-oil output.

Significance
LMG is Poland's largest oil and gas field. Bringing it into operation significantly increased PGNiG's domestic hydrocarbon output (roughly doubling the country's crude-oil production) and strengthened resource security in the upstream segment. The field developed some of the country's largest deposits, with recoverable reserves of around 7.25 million tonnes of oil and 7.3 billion m³ of gas, with a target annual output of more than 300,000 tonnes of oil and more than 100 million m³ of natural gas.
